The Mind of Christ- God's wisdom revealed through the Holy Spirit | 704 Church | May 18

In this week’s message from 1 Corinthians 2:6–16, we explore what it truly means to have “the mind of Christ.” Paul encourages the struggling church in Corinth to stop chasing worldly wisdom and instead lean into the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Although Corinth looked like it had everything—wealth, beauty, and culture—it was spiritually distracted. Paul reminds them (and us) that God's wisdom is revealed through the Spirit, not through what the world calls success.

💡 Having the mind of Christ means we pause, pray, and seek God's voice in all things—especially when the “good” things aren’t always “God” things.
We’re challenged to become thermostats, not thermometers—setting the spiritual tone rather than simply reacting to culture.

🙌 Let this message remind you: if He’s called you to it, He will empower you through it. Stay humble, stay dependent on the Spirit, and believe that you have the mind of Christ.
